The web has made many things in life easier. Communication is a lot faster and more efficient and consumers are more empowered than they have ever been.

For example, it is now possible to search for car insurance quotes using one price comparison site, rather than contacting all the different companies looking for a quote.

Price comparison sites exist to make life easier for us. One of my colleagues wanted to change his insurance provider recently, after less than ideal service.
